On the Horizon for State Legislators
CPA’s Economic Agenda Package from women for America will be ready for release in all 50 state legislatures in time for the 1998 state legislative session. The package builds on policy themes hammered out at CPA’s Women’s Economic Leadership Summit held at the White House. Model legislation to promote small business startup, expand health care, support workfare, build micro-lending initiatives and fight against domestic violence are some components of the package. This is an important chance to launch a pro-active agenda built on best practices, outstanding
model programs and policies in the states. Contact Anne Mosle
at CPA for more details on how you can promote an economic
agenda for all Americans in your state.
