CPA Introduces Southwest Policy Leaders Forum Director

CPA is proud to introduce the new Director of our Southwest Policy Leaders Forum, Jesse Romero. Jesse has served as Chief of Staff to Texas State Representative Vilma Luna and on the Senior Staff of State Senator Rodney Ellis. Romero also worked as a Policy Analyst for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund and worked on Southwest Voter Registration. Since 1997 to the present, Romero was Special Projects Director for Congressman Ciro D. Rodriguez. Throughout his career, Romero has worked on a myriad of issues ranging from redistricting, affirmative action, language rights, public and higher education, to historically underutilized business and economic development. CPA is pleased to have Jesse Romero join our diverse staff of professionals committed to progressive policy. "I am honored to have been offered this opportunity. I stand committed to working with community leaders and elected officials to make a difference and improve the quality of life in the Southwest and beyond." — Jesse Romero
