Southwest Policy Leaders Forum: June 16-18

CPA’s Southwest Policy Leaders Forum (SWPLF) will hold its First Annual Southwest Regional Issues Conference at the Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona. Progressive state legislators and community advocates from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas will convene on June 16-18 to discuss issues affecting their communities and to develop their policy agendas for the 2001 legislative sessions. CPA will shift to a multi-constituency approach in this unique strategic policy meeting and introduce the new SWPLF director and activist, Jesse Romero of San Antonio, Texas. This interactive conference will feature panels on community issues including education, family and work, and prescription drugs for seniors.

For more information, please contact Cecilia Martinez at (202) 387-6030.
