| Support Equal Pay for Equal Work in Your State |
|---|
| On February 2 the AFL-CIO will release a study highlighting the
status of equal pay in the states. Equal pay for equal work is a critical
issue for all working women and the first recommendation in CPA’s
America’s Economic Agenda: Women’s Voices for
Solutions.
State labor federations will partner with grassroots advocates
and state elected leaders to introduce and enact Equal Pay legislation in
their states.
For more information on the event, contact CPA Program
Coordinator Nora O’Connell at (202) 956-5126 or
[email protected]; Suzanne Granville at the
AFL-CIO Working Women’s Department at (202) 637-5357; or visit the
AFL-CIO website at http://www.afl-cio.org/women/index.htm.
