CPA’s Flemming Fellows Leadership Institute
Advisory Committee met in late September to select candidates for
two classes of 1997 Flemming Fellows. The initiative was expanded this year
to include a special program for elected officials from term-limited states.
Those selected will be listed on
CPA’s website soon, following final decisions and notification of candidates. This year, Flemming Fellows from previous classes were included in the
Advisory Committee.
Kickoff for the new class of Flemming Fellows from states
without legislative term limits will begin with the first leadership retreat October
24-26 in Estes Park, Colorado. Term-limited Fellows will meet for a
week-long retreat Nov. 8-14 in Sedona, Arizona.
